The Capilano Suspension Bridge is a must see location if you find yourself in the Vancouver area. Originally built by George Grant Mackay, a Scottish civil engineer and park commissioner for the city. The Bridge runs 450 feet and sits a dizzying 230 feet above the river below. The bridge does more that just give you an immaculate vantage point to observe great natural beauty, once you cross the bridge you enter the "Treetops Adventure" area, a maze of suspended walk-ways that are linked to each other by wrapping around the massive Doug Fir trees.
